Observation details

We spotted a Sabine's gull in adult basic plumage that was feeding with Bonaparte's gulls at the Old Sow whirlpool. The black/white/gray upper wing pattern stood out among the the other feeding gulls. This is the same SAGU that we have seen in the area since August 16th based on plumage characteristics.
