Observation details

Continuing bird reported yesterday by a visitor at the Turtle Rocks Oceanfront Inn and reported today by Greg Gray. Distinctive at close range, with white wing stripe and extensive blue around the eye. We were allowed access to the Inn via the negotiating powers of Cedrik and the extremely kind individual Sam who oversees the inn. He seemed unopposed to small groups entering the inn as well but wasn't keen on large groups, please approach with respect and perhaps give the road a solid look beforehand. The feeder was at the south end of the inn. BM comment: Yes, thanks to Sam, who graciously let us in to see the dove on the porch. Cellphone pic attached. County bird.
