Observation details
Hovering on slope over edge of a wood. Dropped to ground, chased off by a magpie. Fast fluttering wings, still body white hovering, head hanging down, upper wings darker brown at outer half, upper body and inner upper wings lighter brown. Spots/bars not so obvious however. Juvenile or moulting? Photo is a screen grab from a mobile phone video.
