Observation details

Markedly smaller than the two nearby Wilson’s Phalaropes. Non breeding plumage, white overall, dark streaked backs, black mark around eyes, short bills, spinning like little tops on the water while feeding. Poor photos with Wilson’s phalaropes in the background for comparison. (View’s through scope were much better than the photos might suggest)
