Observation details

This owl has been hooting outside our house in the dark for more than a week. This morning I finally got a recording of it through the open window. (Still a bit faint). I have never managed to see this bird after sun rises. Merlin Sound ID has identified a Great Horned Owl for me several times in the last week as making these calls. I will add the recording in the media. Hooting is audible if you turn the sound way up at 01 second in and again at 16 seconds in.
