Observation details

First field trip of the semester with Birding at WSU starting off with a bang! Great spot by RJ after hearing a familiar out-of-place chip call. He called out the bird and then all of us had brief views as it crossed the gap right in front of us and briefly foraged for decent obstructed views. 5 minutes later I got on the bird further back in the forest and we watched it work its way back out to the forest edge where I eventually got doc shots.
