Observation details
Pretty wild, was hearing a faint waterthrush song and at first wrote it off as LOWA. Thought it sounded like a NOWA after a bit and played tape and it came flying in and singing right above my head. There don’t seem to be any real breeding records of them in the area and I couldn’t see the habitat it was in from where I was. But it was really territorial so may warrant further study.
