Observation details
Juvie hawk? The crown and I believe the nape were streaked. The chest was more streaked than blotchy like a juvie Swainson's. It had a pretty short dark hooked bill/yellowish cere. It had a few clear white spots on its wings and, I believe, scapulars. And that miniscule tail, that is what's really throwing me off.
