Observation details
Individuo de estructura robusta marrón oscuro, pico grueso y rectrices oscuras. Muy confiado acercándose bastante mientras se alimentaba en charca de sitio eriazo cercano a las casas. Terreno inundado con presencia mínima de Sphagnum magellanicum, mayormente cubierto de hierba loza y murtilla. No vocaliza al volar.
