Observation details

Rare | Sitting on the dredge barge first mostly hidden by railing but then flew up to a higher perch on a boom. Common Tern sized bird that was more pale and silvery overall, diagnostic black patch only covering eye and auriculars, and dark bill. Poor digiscoped photo.
