single bird in flight, only seen naked eye;
Observation details
500m, single birds, could be the same, heard flying over the forest, hopefully one recording; rare here; [in response to an eBird enquiry by Jacob Wijpkema in August 2025, the following is added; we were birding with Hernan Nabi Palomeque from Sadiri Lodge, who had recently seen and heard the parrotlets in this area and made the identification; Hernan may have additional information on his sightings; the birds were only seen naked eye and were consistent with this genus (but no plumage details); my recording is at XC861502 (a faint recording of one of the birds), which is somewhat like a couple of other recordings from Bolivia and SE Peru, but different from some in other parts of the range;]
