Media notes

Single upslurred flight call notes visible in sonogram at 0:015, 0:058, 0:148 in clip. Primary sound in audio clip is calls of prairie dogs.

Observation details

Flew away with smaller peep flock at 7:50 pm. Gave single and doublet upslurred flight call. Single notes can be heard clearly (and seen on the sonogram) at 0:015, 0:958,and 0:148 in the attached audio clip. KK viewed briefly on shoreline with binoculars and noted orange color of underparts as bird took flight. Distant audio obtained. We are fairly certain that this bird has flown.
