Observation details

Adult found earlier today by Richard Barth. The bird retained some alternate feathers (some minimal rust color to the nape and the sides of the upper breast; barring on the underparts), but was well underway molting to basic (extensive gray feathering already on the mantle). The bird maintained close proximity to the small group of Long-billed Dowitchers.
