The bumping and scratching sounds in the background are from the bird repeatedly hitting the window. Except for the sounds around the 1:30 mark. Those are from my neighbor working.

Observation details

This individual has routinely been attacking its reflection in the window by my feeders as well as other windows around the house for the past few days between around 6:30-9:00 am. I have tried to cover the window and scare away the bird so it doesn't hurt itself slamming its beak into the glass but it is determined, making scratchy hiss and splutter calls at its perceived offender.
