Observation details
We first saw the bird flushing at close range, and we were impressed that it seemed to have four almost fully white rectrices on both sides of the tail. It walked away from us with out flushing again or otherwise showing the spread tail. Two photos, below, aren't diagnostic—and probably point more to Western than to Chihuahuan.
