Observation details
Sitting in a tree on the old orchard trail, between the forest and the field (good hunting spot, maybe). Only about ten feet off the ground and right in front of our faces, but so well camouflaged that we almost missed it until it turned its head towards us. Beautiful bird, spent some time watching it until the bugs chased us away.
