Observation details

7th Pribilofs record and first in 15 years. First seen in flight from the van, pointed at by Luis while driving initially, and called out by all of us simultaneously. Chaotic moments ensued trying to get out of the van to nail doc with sliding door issues and then it apparently dropped into Webster Seawatch. Poked our heads over there and we had to climb down and walk the beach to tease out the bird. Hung out in the kelp wreck and nearby rocks for 50 mins and then it started approaching us and spontaneously flew off for no apparent reason. Seemed like it went to North Beach with a few Ruddy Turnstones joined midflight? Marunich possible tomorrow as well. Dream bird for all of us!
