Observation details
The three pictures in sequence 1, 2, and 3 represent before (courting by both), during and after mating. The before and after frames show the cloaca exposed for mating which only occurs during this event based on my observations. [The cloaca is a single opening in birds used for excretion, mating, and laying eggs.]
