Observation details

Tina found it this morning. Thank you! When I arrived 4.5 hours later, Brendan(?) and another fellow had heard it not far from parking area, and we all heard it soon thereafter. It did not reveal itself despite moving widely about the tall grass area (to west/northwest of model airplane field). Song sparrows gladly posed instead, dashing hopes of seeing the wren. We perhaps heard every 10 minutes or so during the entirety of the visit but never was seen until the very end. Audiograms of the bird were recorded from the outset, but Merlin failed to identify it. Even more distant MAWRs and NOFLs were detected.
