Behavior and other notes: Adult female Red-naped Sapsucker giving calls from a willow near the road at the edge of the ponds formed by Rock Creek. There was a young fledgling there as well. It was begging some until they noticed me (at 1:13). At that point, the FL became quiet and the female continued to call. At 3:01, she flys off leaving the FL in the willow. The FL was trying to hid behind a narrow branch in a similar manor as a meadow katydid does. The second cut is only the female calling, then flying off calling.
