Observation details

The adult male here chooses different vantage points and keeps singing. The female closely follows him from tree to tree and both appear to scout a good nesting site. In between the songs, one can hear a tchk-tchk calls made by female most of the times although male has also been making those once in a while. The female quickly darts towards an isolated spot, crevice or a potential safe nesting site and the male follows closely. After inspection, they both come out and perch on vantage points, keenly scanning the surroundings. Sometimes they linger at a site, other times they move to the next tree. In earlier weeks, I used to see only the male doing rounds of these exact spots and sing at vantage points. Now, since past two three days, a female accompanies him. Looks like the pair has bonded.
