Photos. Group 1: raft swimming near geese. Although superficially this looked like a group of six adults, their behavior suggested that the lead bird was a hen, and the others were young adult adults following her lead closely. Unusual for this time of yea. Drab brownish coloring with black eye line. Group 2: hen with first year ducking. Photo.
