Observation details
Hen. Appeared on road at 7:30. Obviously larger than bobwhite. Chicken shaped bird with heavy barring. Slight pinnae feathers. Stood on road for 5-10 minutes until it walked into the weeds. As we approached it flushed 100 ft or so. Lifer.
