Media notes

One flight call of a breeding-plumaged GTTA that flew in and landed in a marshy puddle along the edge of Boon Tsagan Nuur. A brief recording only to offer as partial documentation of a rarity here. Recorded with a Zoom-F3, using a Sennheiser ME67 and foam windscreen.

Observation details

found earlier by Trevor Ellery et al.; missing a foot, flying well; heard calling, hopefully have adequate recording; a. p.; ID on clear chwee call and white belly with less prominent barring on flanks and breast than Wandering; small amount of yellow to base of bill, didn't remember what to look at exactly on nostril or whatever; rare migrant here; brief recordings of calls
