Observation details

Small black and white ladderback woodpecker with large white auricular patches. White to gray underside with distinctive black spots that become more of a bar at the flanks. See pic. Narrow white line above eye. Observed on trail 10 west of 13, on 13 north of 10 and on 10 rather far east on 13 (eastern end of the burn area). As I saw them three times, I believe it likely there were more than six but eBird didn't like any more than six.
