Observation details

Very poor quality recording, but you can easily see it in the spectrograph. Bird calls are heard repeatedly before the recording and then once we started recording at time points (0:17, 0:35, 1:19, 2:05, 2:16, 2:43). Despite working the shrubs and small trees we could not visually locate the bird but for about five minutes it was singing and moving along the roadside hedge. The song was in the classic range of 8-10KHz with an build up and then let down in intensity through the sequence. This had to be a late migratory bird as it was not good breeding habitat.
