Observation details
**Uncommon on the Hudson, though somewhat regular here. Stunning adult with rufous back and all black belly. Brightest bird I’ve seen in ages. Great spot by Ari on the breakwater at high tide as we were leaving. Flew around once before resettling on the largest exposed rock. Many thanks to him for alerting me!
