Observation details

A single individual accidentally flushed while birding near the forest plantation. White outer primary patch seen clearly in flight. I initially assumed it to be European Nightjar since there is an old record from Kargil. After clearly looking at the pictures it was clearly Savanna Nightjar. This record is the first record for Ladakh and an addition to the checklist of Ladakh.
