Observation details

This subadult (?) was brought to the clinic by a person who lived near the college and claimed that it had flown into his house. He stated that the bird was injured and bleeding from the mouth. A clinical inspection revealed that the bird was uninjured and the red colour at the base of the beak was mistaken as bleeding. The bird was released on 21.12.2019 at the Nanmangalam lake.
