Observation details
Male and female. I have seen them at this location the past few years. Foraging, bathing, and collecting food items in puddle in corn field. Male was glossy black with white eyes. Similar in size to a Red-winged Blackbird but with shorter tail. Female dull gray-brown with dark eyes.
