Out of range Glossy Ibis preening, with a White-faced Ibis in front for comparison. Francis Lake, SK. Canada. 30 May 2025
Observation details
We were able to get an excellent look at this bird through the scope with WFIB for comparison. Adult plumage, Very similar to White-faced Ibises it was with, but lacked the white around the face and the red patch between eye and the bill. Skin between bill and eye was grey, not white. Paule took photos which she will add.
