Observation details
First state record (!!!) found earlier by Matt Hafner. Similar to a PESA, but with chevron markings extending all the way down the underside, as opposed to the more linear streaking and clean breast/belly demarcation of a PESA. The eye-ring was not as obvious as I expected, but apparently this is not a dealbreaker for SPTS. There were several occasions where the SPTS walked near a PESA, so we were able to compare the two species very well - the SPTS looked darker and more heavily streaked from every angle.
