Observation details

Very unexpected. Not previously reported at Santa Cruz Flats. No known turkey farms in the area, and the great majority of domestic turkeys are white. First observed it from a distance where it was at the river crossing. It walked east toward my vehicle along the road and passed me. Photo shows that it was likely an immature bird. White tip on tail and whiter on wings. Naked head.
