Observation details

We observed the waterthrush from about 20m bobbing along the river edge and on fallen logs in the river. We differentiated this individual waterthrush from the similar Louisiana waterthrush by a pale supercilium that did not widen to the rear, and it's more boldly streaked underside. We also noted some streaking on the throat and a more vertical rear-end bobbing as opposed to the saashay of the Louisiana. A rare spring transient in the SPRNCA.
