Photo of deceased VIRA added since this species has not been reported at this hotspot. VIRA has not been reported at the other key hotspot in this park in the summer months. Plumage indicates that it may have been a juvenile. A local expert surmised that this might be a late migrant. Nearby hikers saw a bobcat in the exact location 20-30 minutes earlier.
