Juvenile California gnatcatcher calling for food and keeping its beak open while adults are nearby
Observation details
1 male with black cap, gray body, long thin tail, 1 female, 2 fluffy juveniles being fed seeds from flowers. The juveniles stayed in same place, calling with beaks open and fluttering wings when adults were nearby. Seen in similar location as yesterday - bush halfway up hill. Wheezing call. Have images
