Observation details
Small heron with long legs and toes, daggerlike bill and long neck. He started calling when the Virgina Rail called when l went by. Well worth climbing over the beaver dam. I stayed in area over a hour waiting to get a sighting of him. Finally have a picture of a Least Bittern.
