Observation details
***very rare, especially in June (5 others in ebird although one is a Bird Observer record with "no details, not published" in the comments, one more in Veit and Petersen). Mostly in the thick field below the playgroundbut wide ranging (from 42°17'00.6"N 71°10'54.7"W to at least 42°16'56.6"N 71°11'03.4"W) including to bare trees across lower path (42°16'59.3"N 71°11'06.2"W and 42°17'02.9"N 71°10'58.0"W). It would sit somewhat buried for a few minutes, then fly and hover for a bit, and repeat. Pale gray above, yellow belly, black tail with white outer edge. Many photos Actually saw it while on the lower path earlier, but in bad light so got zero plumage and just thought that was odd behavior for a kingbird. Was walking the midlevel and heard the Bobolink very distantly so walked to the path that goes up to the playground and found this sitting in the same view.
