*scarce at this date. Fully-capped adult, probably in post-breeding plumage, flying westbound through the height of the rain and fog. Enormous long-winged tern with a big orange bill and white primary unders unlike Caspian tern. Dark wedge on primary uppers like a giant common tern. Possibly suggestive photos at distance through the heavy fog
