Observation details

4 males and at least one female. I thought I saw a second female but this bird was only seen briefly before it disappeared into the tall grass. Twice a male bird circled me in the general area of where the female emerged and called in a way that suggested some threat related to my presence. Both incidents were at the edges a a partially plowed plot near the top of the hill where it is edged by a border of tall grass. One male observed near the edge of the field where there is a fence separating the house from the field toward the road, this bird has been seen/heard here several times in past 7 days
