Observation details
Photos, but very zoomed for detail. Bird was relatively low circling. While in our yard at about 10:30A today, Tuesday 6/3/25), I was watching an adult Bald Eagle being hassled by another raptor fairly high up overhead just slightly south. I grabbed the binocs and checked the eagle and a Turkey Vulture and eventually saw a high up Cooper’s Hawk (likely the bird interacting with the eagle). Then I saw a second smaller raptor in the binocs and immediately noticed a white head and suspected Mississippi Kite (yard bird first - and a species I have not often seen). It circled long enough (about a minute) to run for a better camera than my phone and eventually it cruised NW. I am attaching some images of photos of my camera display. I think the photos show some striping on the tail which makes me think it may be a first summer bird, but I am not sure.
