Observation details

Phalarope with a dark cap, white throat, red on neck, small white spot above eye, dark side of breast and buffy stripes on back was observed. Initially, unidentifiable as it was sleeping with its back towards me. Just before leaving, I took a last look and it conveniently raised its head. A distant photo is attached.
