Observation details

multi-colored small duck. mostly brown with a gray head and white eyering. pinkish bill with gray tip. body is black and with pink legs. white wings with gradient into gray and rust colored. did not call. grouped together in a tight raft ~30 feet from rocky shore eventually heading to the rocks and standing and mixed in with Canada goose. while on the water most seemed to be partially asleep (one eye closed).
