Media notes

NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 15. Bulk reel: 202 Time: 5:50 AM to 6:15 AM. Weather: Heavy fog; foliage drip. Natural song, possibly same bird as in Cut 14 and others preceding. Bird is in position I. Quality: 3 (high background noise). Level: +3. Parabola pointed to open sky. 203 tape. LN. (In latter part gain reduced 15 db, then increased from there by 10 db; bird had meanwhile moved a little farther away. Note: From km 20.5 (concrete bridge) I could hear this km 23 bird at 5:30 AM and from this km 23 site I heard quite well the bird ca. km 20.5; some of the latter may even be heard in Cut 16 (especially in middle part) in spite of the high noise level from foliage drip.
