Observation details

On Mon 26 May 2025, I observed such a magnitude of movement of Tricolored Blackbirds that I came back to experience it again today. Just as it was earlier in the week, flocks were flying eastward and returning westward with many carrying food. Flocks ranging between a few to a hundred plus. I conservatively estimated about 400 birds by only considering three flocks of about 100 and few smaller groups seen at the same time. Mon 26 May 2025 - https://ebird.org/checklist/S243171779
