Observation details
**I'm not sure which breeding code to put for "smearing ant/aphid juice around nest cavity entrance" I watched and recorded a female of a pair appearing to rub some sort of tiny ant-like insect near the entrance to a cavity. At first I thought she was trying to get something stuck to her bill off, but she was moving all around the entrance, and when she went further up the tree to get a second one I knew it was intentional. She did this for at least 10 minutes, with at least 4 different individual insects. The male briefly entered the nest cavity, and her was on the tree with her in the beginning, but didn't perform this anting behavior
