Observation details

This bird was heard only. Singing in foliated, heavy brush right next to the trail. The bird was only 10-15' away from me but not visible. The song was loud and clear, two notes repeated about 5 times. Best I can describe it is chu-pee, chu-pee,chu-pee, chu-pee, chu-pee. It sang 7 or 8 times while standing there. The song matched the Macaulay Library recording. I got the song recorded twice I think I can get one attached. The date is good for this species to be passing through and habitat was right.
