Observation details
Continuing. Found earlier today by Joe C with photo documentation. Was refound by Johnny Nelson on the south side by the fence before flying from tree to tree across to the apartment trees and then behind the apartments. Lost it after that. Beautiful bird. Black hood, a bright blue patch around a light colored eye, bright orange body, black wings with a white stripe that ran the length of the wing, and a black tail. In flight had a thick orange stripe down its back. Orange like a bright Baltimore Oriole. Gave a little of the two note song. Tried to record but not sure that I got it. In the trees and on the ground. Escapee or did it migrate up with Baltimore Orioles?
