Observation details

Going to need help with this ID. Smaller than the mallards it was swimming past, and definitely wigeon size/shape. It matches your for most of the coloration for the American wigeon hen. However my flight photos show whitening on the edging of feathers which seems a bit off to me. The side photos look off to me as well. I may be overanalyzing this but would love second opinions. Thanks!
