NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 21. Brazil; Bulk reel: 194 This song is similar to those of Pyriglena, Percnostola (and in Venezuela - Myrmeciza immaculata). However, it sounds different from the Pyriglena recordings and different from the recording tied to Percnostola rufifrons, recorded here @ Reserva Ducke yesterday, with a specimen collected. These birds were apparently traveling with Cercomacra tyrannina (which is also heard in part of the recording: a) @7.5" & b). Until this is definitely solved, I file the recordings here. a) Quality: 2. Level: +3. 3.75 ips. Quality: 1. Level: +3, 0. 7.5 ips. 203 tape. b) Quality: 1. Level: +3. 7.5 ips.
